9:27 am	wow. i got really drunk last night. well, not by myself. i hung out with nicole and shawn and drank quite a bit of vodka, a couple of mudslides and a couple of beers. hangovers are evil. eeeeeeeevil! anywho, i'm busy at work ripping some good music onto nicole's computer. she wants all the good metal music i have. primarily nightwish and a few others too. also, i gotta burn her a copy of each of my voltaire cds too. anyway, i'm out like a fat kid in dodgeball. later. 5:19 pm	loving lover of the loving lovers that love loving after reading someone's post about the difference between love and having a crush, i decided to write my own rant/thoughts on the subject. now this may not necessarily contain anything to do with a crush, but it will sate some people's yearning to know other's opinions. i've been in love. something i once perceived was untouchable and so potent that it could kill me. i still am in love. love is a double-edged blade in the face of humanity. love has been categorized and recategorized countless times, only to have it flung around meaninglessly. i listen to people who are much younger than myself and hear them tell each other, `i love you.` i've never understood how a young teenager, no older than fifteen, can truly understand the weight of those three words. love is without rationality. some of the most fanatical things in history have been done out of `love.` wars, battles, etc etc. these have started because of someone's love for their god, or their love for a woman, or their country. love is wonderful and dangerous spiral into its own special madness. sometimes it can be cured, other times it can be the downfall of a human being. love has been my endless journey. i've always had it, but i continued to search. i let it slip through the cracks of my fingers, waiting and pulling back in fear of its intense reality. as cheesy as it sounds, bette midler's lyric `some say love ... it is a razor,` is very much true. loves fills your heart and soul only to cut through at times. we, as human beings, allow this because pleasure and pain are our vices whether anyone wants to admit it or not. like i said before, love is without rationality.
